VENDORS.   We are always seeking good material for our sales, why not help satisfy our World wide customer  base, competitive commission and no unsold charges for lots unless the vendor has placed high reserves, we have customers with thousands of pounds willing to spend on the very philatelic material you may have, it might be a lifetimes collection, a retail stock or just a single stamp we  will be able to help, send today for full details. All lots are automatically reserved at 75% of   estimate

PRIVATE TREATY. besides our regular monthly sales we maintain a register of customers specialist needs,   whether you are a small collector or an investor or advanced collector we will be able to assist  in finding that elusive item for you. See the PT form

TRADE LISTS We offer on a regular basis , normally every three weeks complete collections, boxes, album   leaves, accumulations, packets, loose etc ideal for dealer, shop or the collector to break down  for resale. go to the Trade section

POSTAL AUCTIONS Postal bid/Mail sales and Buy or Bid sales we have held a sale every month since 1969  and have built up a reputation of having accurate descriptions with an instant refund for any lot  that does not match the description. see the Auction section

PAYMENTS to make it easier for all payments should be made via a sterling cheque or draft drawn on a  British Bank and sent to us, we do accept cheques in USA dollars and currency from most  countries, details are on the invoice. Blank cheques or cheques made out "Not to exceed" must  allow for postage and packing, European customers can pay by Giro or Euros (cash). Always sent to us as direct payment can incur extra charges and can take 6 weeks to clear the system. The sending  of cash  should always be registered.

BUYING      is straight forward, reserve your lots by post, telephone, E Mail, or fax and await our invoice, do not  send any money (unless its a blank cheque) prior to an invoice. Please note that payments for the  Postal bid sale should be separate from the Trade List a different invoice will be raised for each. See  How to Bid and the abbreviations more commonly used. We do not operate an approval service. Stamps that are to certified, we must be told prior to placing an order that an item is going to be certified there is no point in stating 3 months after the sale that an item has failed as the vendor has been paid

CARRIAGE of successful purchases is extra and all goods will be send  by insured air parcel when practical,   (please note that some countries do not accept registered post or only have limited cover) UK customers will have items sent  SD  over £100, Signed For over £50 and all other items will have a proof of posting, Items are sent at the Buyers risk and any special posting instructions should be indicated on the bid/order form.

VIEWING    of lots, single items and sets can be sent via fax or E Mail certain items can be sent for postal   viewing (UK only) against a full deposit, carriage to be borne by the customer, Our premises are always open for our customers benefit, by appointment only.

CONDITIONS OF SALE  are straight forward with no hidden extras, by placing a bid or order with us you  will agree to our terms which are based on the Standard Auctioneers terms as laid down by the IFDSA and they are available upon request.
